SOUND Workshop, with Nuno Murta

Synopsis
This workshop intends, in an experimental way, to explore the possibilities of sound. In a first phase, various materials for sound production and manipulation will be introduced. Subsequently, participants will be asked to creatively experiment with the materials provided and to define a varied set of sound possibilities. Finally, an experimental sound performance will be prepared, which will culminate in a public presentation.
Bio
Master in Communication, Culture and Arts.
As a musician, he has recorded several albums and participated in soundtracks for documentaries and films.
In the theater area, he develops work as a sound designer, musician and sound technician.
In the area of sound exploration, he developed the “Cañon Club” project, coordinated the “Orquestra Lixo” project and currently, as a resident artist at LAC, develops the “Pedra Parva” project and gives training, in the sound area, in the ARTLAB project.
He recently started a collaboration with Museu 0, where he develops a sound object for an exhibition curated by Luís Fernandes and provides training, in the area of sound, in the project “Grande Enciclopédia dos Sons Determinados”.
