Academia MIL was born with the aim of supporting those who are taking their first steps in the music industry. Aimed at emerging artists and early-career professionals living in Portugal, the Academy offers a space for intensive training, collaborative creation and sharing experiences.
One edition in two moments: Online and In-Person
The 2025 edition is divided into two complementary moments:
→ Online Training | October 20 to 30
In partnership with the Arda Academythis stage focuses on acquiring theoretical and technical knowledge, with sessions led by music industry professionals.
→ Artistic Residency | November 2 to 8
The residency will take place in two cities simultaneously: Viseu and Lagos, promoting an environment of artistic creation, sharing and connection with local cultural structures.
A program that unites Theory, Practice and Community
The Academia MIL program combines theoretical and practical training, promoting meetings between participants, music industry mentors and local cultural organizations. More than training, this is a space for experimentation, exchange of ideas and artistic growth.
Academia MIL is a project of MIL – Lisbon International Music Network, which remains committed to discovering new talents, enhancing musical creation and critically reflecting on the sector.
