The CAMARATA invites the community to Arraial do Chinicato – A popular celebration for all families
The Camarata Project is pleased to announce the Arraial do Chinicato, a community event that promises to bring animation, culture and tradition to Lagos. The party will take place on July 5th, between 3pm and 11pm, at Rua dos Rouxinóis, in Chinicato.
Chinicato is a residential neighborhood located on the outskirts of the city of Lagos. It is an area known for its welcoming community spirit, ideal for hosting an event that celebrates the values of sharing, joy and popular culture.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to enjoy a varied program designed for all ages, including:
- Fun and cultural activities for children and families
- Stalls with local products, handicrafts and traditional games
- A wide range of foodtrucks with snacks and flavors for all tastes
- Performances by local artists: Storm Rock Fusion Band and Miguel Martins
- The popular marches parade at the end of the day, bringing with them the festive spirit and traditions of yesteryear
Arraial do Chinicato is an initiative open to the public, with free admission, and aims to strengthen community ties by promoting interaction between neighbors, visitors and families.
The CAMARATA Project invites all Lagos residents, tourists and onlookers to join in this great party, where there will be plenty of entertainment, good cheer and the typical spirit of Portuguese festivals.
