Synopsis
Working the clay is like tinkering with the earth, it has therapeutic properties. We will explore the creation of form, while exploring our images of the world and ourselves, thus being able to deconstruct stereotypes and prejudices and let ourselves flow with the pleasure of creating and building with clay. Developing the basics of initiation to Sculpture, and then being able to proceed to the acquisition of new knowledge and plastic skills.
Bio
Sandra Afonso (Aveiro, 1978), graduated in Plastic Arts – Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
