Curcumbia, a multicultural band made up of 7 members of 5 different nationalities (PT, AR, CL, IT, BR) founded in 2020 in the city of Porto, Portugal, the band’s mission is to spread joy and emotion through Cumbia, a traditional rhythm born in Colombia that soon spread throughout Latin America. Their concerts are energetic, irresistible and for all ages. Curcumbia has performed internationally (Switzerland and Germany), financed by Ibermusicas through “support for the circulation of music professionals” (2024) in national venues such as the Hard Club in Porto (2024), M.o.u.c.o. in an opening concert for the band “Newen Afrobeat” (2022) and at various festivals in Portugal: Festival Vizinhancas (Porto), Setúbal Theater Festival, Arredas folk fest (Barcelos), Festa do Almonda (Torres Novas), Festival aldeia dos lobos (Fafião Geres), Ancas Folk (Anadia), Feira da Terra (Mondim de Basto), Almada Theater Festival etc…
