CINEMA with Cellphone Lab, with Marta Belo
Aimed at classes from Júlio Dantas Secondary School and Clube Escola Azul (Naus)
during the month of February, 2024
Synopsis
In this workshop we will learn about the various genres of cinema that exist (fiction, documentary, experimental, music video, etc.) and understand the main characteristics that define them. Then we’ll choose the genre to explore, so that together we can work on our narrative, define each person’s role in the production team and produce a short film from scratch, recorded with our cell phones.
The supervisor will then work on post-production on site, following the participants’ guidelines, while introducing them to some video editing techniques and tools.
At the end there will be a film session where everyone can watch the short film created during the workshop and exchange ideas about the result.
