A project formed in Porto in September 2020 as a result of a passion for Balkan and Middle Eastern music, which brought together musicians from Germany, Chile, Brazil and Poland who currently live and create in Invicta.
From the outset, the band’s aim has been not only to reproduce traditional themes, but also to enrich tradition with their own experiences and with the sound heritage that each of them has brought from their surroundings.
The artists believe that music is one of the best ways to cross borders and find similarities in differences – and the intense musical interaction quickly led to the conclusion that, although so different and distant, all traditions share the same beating heart.

When the music brings dances from here and there, embraced by the encounter between a violin and a concertina.
Between water mazurkas, air polskas, earth circles and fire scottishes, the music is renewed, interpreted and created.
This is where traditional songs from the past are transformed and new ones are composed, fusing current inspirations with traces of the past. We travel across Europe, bringing together Italian, French, Swedish, Portuguese and other dances.
Between group and pair dances, everyone is invited to dance.
