Another edition of the artistic residency ROOTS is underway, this time with the participation of artists Ana Maria Pintora (Portugal), Jayme Reis (Brazil), René Tavares (São Tomé and Príncipe) and Thandi Pinto (Mozambique).
Yesterday, with the arrival of the last artists, after deciding on workspaces and respective preparations, there was a presentation dinner in which the guest artists spoke about their projects and expectations for the residency and made themselves known to the other LAC artists.
Today, the residency goes into production and work mode, culminating in an exhibition on April 22nd.
The ROOTS program also includes a tour guided by the author to the exhibition “Step by Step” by A. Pedro Correia and two conferences that will include the presence of António Pinto Ribeiro and Pedro Pires.
