At the beginning of the residency, the participating artists were given two challenges: in addition to carrying out their own work, they were challenged to cook a dish close to their origins, as well as to present a list of songs and songs that would allow the other artists to listen to their sounds. that they usually know less well.
On day 4, it was Thandi Pinto’s turn, from Mozambique, to present us with some delicacies and sounds, because a residency is also about cultural exchanges and the establishment of bonds that can connect the artists beyond the duration of the residency itself.
It was a productive and well spent day. The works, as the images testify, are taking shape.
