DRAWING Classes, with Mara Taquelim

In the DRAWING classes, it is intended to create a space for exploration of the various elements of visual communication as well as diversify the application of techniques and materials. The approach will be thematic and sequential, taking place in quarterly modules, not compromising, however, the possibility of participation of interested parties at any time. The initial theme will be “From line to stain”. We will start with experimental exercises that will lead us to a final composition. Part of the material will be provided, which will be complementary to the personal material.

The classes will be taught by Mara Taquelim (Luanda, 1962) – Teacher of the Visual Arts group, she has been teaching since 1989 (in the 3rd cycle and secondary school), the year in which she completed her degree in Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL). Her passion for drawing later led her to take a Master’s degree in Drawing, also at FBAUL, completed in 2009. In the area of graphic design she has had several participations, some of them awarded. Sporadically she has made incursions into the field of illustration. He has attended several workshops on drawing and participates in the initiatives of urban sketchers algarve. The desire to devote more time and attention to the artistic area, has recently requested an interruption of teaching activity.
