Synopsis
Today “taking” photographs is within everyone’s reach. However, photography is more than just clicking the button on the device, be it a camera or not. This is because a good image depends on numerous visual and technical factors.
With the objective of obtaining better images, this workshop aims to give the participants the basic notions for its realisation, in a way that is intended to be simple and playful.
Bio
José Cabral Silva was born in Lagos, where he lives. He has training in the areas of drawing, painting and photography from Ar.Co (Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual). He has a Photography Course at the IPF (Portuguese Photography Institute). Since 1981 he has exhibited, both collectively and individually, having received in 1988 the Photography Award of the IV Bienal de Artes Plásticas de Lagos.
He is a trainer in the area of photography, having already organised several courses of Introduction to Photography.
