Sara Baga lives in Portugal and builds her work from her poetic and symbolic view of the world, keeping human ecology at the core of her creation. Originally a communication designer with a degree in art direction, she has immersed herself in the popular movement for the past 11 years, deepening her connection with the land and fighting for the environment, food sovereignty, and indigenous rights. She is active in the arts circuits in participatory arts, production (KijkRuimte, Tolhstuin Producties), with award-winning films (Hortas Di Pobreza, Raquel) and developing collaborations in the performing arts (Terra Livre, Kanoa, Bouchra Ouizguen).
