Synopsis
Participants will learn how to create a creative composition through screen printing, starting with simple experiments on paper that will give an initial understanding of this technique. Finally, they will work, in stages, on the creation of their own composition. The aim will be to stimulate creativity, the understanding of how the technique works and the differences between positive and negative image and the appreciation of teamwork. Creation of 2 individual creative projects (one on paper and another on textile).
Bio
Verena Basto – Visual artist with a degree in Visual Arts and New Media from ESAD CR in 2011, with work developed in the areas of painting, illustration and screen printing. Founder of Officina Noctua in 2017.
Nuno Ribeiro – Communication Designer graduated from UAlg in 2007. After a passage through CAPa – Performing Arts Centre of Algarve, he continues to develop his work as a designer. In 2017 he founded Officina Noctua having since then also been working in the areas of screen printing, restoration and birdwatching.
