Synopsis
This workshop is aimed at those who are already familiar with the basics of the stencil technique. Over the course of the first weekend, the artist BIGOD, who specializes in this technique, will be looking at ways of editing images, from turning photographs into vectorized images to preparing them for printing on the cutting machine. The second weekend is dedicated to applying this knowledge to the practice of mural painting, from techniques for enlarging the image to the scale of the wall, and its pictorial – and three-dimensional – realization in LAC’s facilities.
Participation requisites:
All participants must have basic knowledge of the stencil technique and bring their own computer.
Older than 16 years old. Registration implies participation in both weekends.

Biography
João Domingos (1992) was born and raised in the village of Cortiçóis, in Benfica do Ribatejo, and believes that this has helped him create his identity as an urban artist.
From an early age, she had a special curiosity and taste for the arts, particularly Street Art. At the age of 14, she started painting, but it was in 2014, while studying Plastic Arts and Multimedia, that her artistic identity emerged, when she signed a final piece of coursework. Since then, opportunities have arisen and painting has played a central role in his life. The name “Bigod” involves connections to his homeland, his elders and traditions. It is in this context that he defines his artistic line, using the stencil technique to bring to life traditions, “the people” and everything that surrounds the symbolism of the place where he paints.
